FAMILY SPIRIT
Guillotte Capital is a family-owned business that supports the development and success of entrepreneurship. As such, the company proudly invests in businesses with a proven potential for growth – and whose values align with Guillotte Capital’s own fundamental vision.
Guillotte Capital is entrepreneurial to the core. Its founder, Paul-André Guillotte, was a well-known entrepreneur - long before entrepreneurship became part of everyday vernacular. Paul-André Guillotte had prospered in the agri-food sector in Quebec and across the rest of Canada. Paul-André is known as one of the great business leaders and builders in Quebec. He led Van Houtte Inc. to become the well respected coffee company of Canada. His entrepreneurial spirit and unprecedented passion for business and entrepreneurship live on in each and every Guillotte Capital associate.
When financing in a business of a partner company, Guillotte Capital brings a wealth of diverse expertise to the proverbial table. Our associates deliver unparalleled flexibility and attentiveness at every stage of the collaborative process – be it development, marketing, psychology, advice in all legal and financial aspects. Through the years, the building of Guillotte Capital’s impressive financial network has truly become, well, a “capital” resource.

FUNDAMENTAL INSPIRATION
Integrity. Trust. Patience. These are key values that Guillotte Capital seeks out when partnering with entrepreneurs wishing to embark on a new phase of growth.
Although each potential collaboration is unique in its own make-up, a partner company who seeks to improve the experience and daily life of a customer, is ultimately what resonates with Guillotte Capital’s moral compass.
In terms of limited partnerships, Guillotte Capital naturally engages with enterprises whose ethics are a mirror-image of their own – and whose prosperity will come by way of distinctive products and services that serve to benefit the consumer.

After graduating from law school, Claude-André ran a successful practice in a large firm. In the ten years that followed, Claude-Andre held various positions in the agribusiness SME sector, particularly in the food processing and food service sectors. He also climbed the ranks as a sales representative for major Canadian food distributors.
Having completed a master's degree and a doctorate in administration with a specialization in decision-making in cooperative and social enterprises, Claude-André currently holds a position as professor of entrepreneurship at the School of Management of the Université de Sherbrooke and is the acting director of a research Institute for cooperatives and mutuals, IRECUS. He is actively the President of Guillotte Capital, succeeding his godfather, the late Paul-André Guillotte.
Claude-André, a father of three, is a devoted family man, and he also lends a hand in his community. His interest in corporate governance and ethics is uncanny, and his passion for entrepreneurship and leadership is contagious, to say the least.
Marie-Eve graduated from the Université de Sherbrooke in Québec with a bachelor degree in Letters and Communications, a certificate in Advertising from Concordia University, as well as a Master’s degree in Marketing (Msc) from the Université de Sherbrooke.
After many years working for Loto-Quebec in the Marketing department as a product manager, Marie-Eve moved to Vancouver in 2004 to work with the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) as a Brand Manager. She spent 10 years with BCLC, being promoted multiple times to end up as a Senior Marketing Manager. Marie-Eve is passionate about everything related to marketing and brand building.
Since 2016, she has volunteered for a not-for-profit organization, Watson Centre Society for Brain Health and is focused not only on their marketing, but also in helping survivors of a brain injury reclaim their lives to the fullest. She also sits on its Board of Directors.
She has an adorable daughter, Lia, who keeps her busy and on her toes! Marie-Eve is a natural leader, a quality instilled by her father, Paul-André Guillotte. She brings her marketing knowledge and a strong business ethic to the team – just like her father!
As a psychologist, Andrée-Anne started her private practice 25 years ago. Constantly on the lookout for recent developments in her discipline, she is currently pursuing a doctorate for practicing psychologists at the Université de Sherbrooke.
Specializing in work and organizational psychology, she offers coaching and development sessions for leaders and teams. The sessions are personalized and virtual and are solution-oriented to support managers in their leadership and team mobilization.
Andrée-Anne has long been interested in the administration and human resources fields. This fascination led to a degree in psychology, where Andrée-Anne proudly wrote her thesis on the impact of attachment styles in therapeutic relationships.
On a professional level, the opening of a new clinic would eventually become Andrée-Anne’s calling card. She soon launched a successful private practice, providing psychological services for an adult clientele in both Montréal and Mauricie. This unique experience proved beneficial as Andrée-Anne also acted as an expert-psychologist before the courts.
Later, while living in Vancouver, she studied in literature and journalism at the University of British Columbia. At the same time, Andrée-Anne administers the joint-stock company for a doctor and is actively involved with carefully selecting and participating in community charity organizations to enrich her life.
